Auto Comparison Insurance Rate

We've all seen the commercials. Every company out there wants you to believe that they have the cheapest auto insurance, and many are willing to provide services to find the best auto comparison insurance rate. They will tell you that from their simple website, you can compare auto insurance rates from their company against equivalent services from other companies. Could such a thing be true? Could all auto insurance companies be so truly good natured that all they want to do is just take care of you, protect your car, your family, and your dog so that you never have to pay any money when all those jerks who drive with the protection of other auto insurance companies crash into you? In truth, no, not really.

The truth is that the idea of an auto comparison insurance rate is really a myth. Sure, companies will provide you with some other company's rates when showing you how to compare auto insurance rates, but they aren't giving you the whole story. These companies all have slightly different standards for evaluating someone for insurance packages, and also all offer slightly different service packages. There is never any guarantee that an auto insurance company will be able to show you the current rate for the exact same services at the exact same time at another company. Really, auto insurance can be a complicated industry, but since you legally need auto insurance to drive your car, it can be tricky storm that you're forced to navigate.

Why, you ask, is insurance so important? Well, the argument follows that if you have auto insurance, you will be protecting other drivers you may injure with your manic, maniac driving skills (non-existent, Chicago drivers, I'm talking to you). The facts of the case are slightly different. In truth, the auto insurance injury has just become such a large cash cow, that it doesn't even bother them anymore to provide an auto comparison insurance rate to customers anymore, however illegitimate, because the auto insurance industry is guaranteed business by the US government, and in return provides massive tax dollars and is a boon to the economy. Most insurance companies are based on the east coast since that's where the American Insurance industry got it's start. The first insurance policies were issued on departing ships from east coast ports. Because of fragile ships and dangerous sailing conditions, shipping companies were looking for a way to secure their investments. Some business people got together and came up with the bright idea of offering insurance policies for a modest fee, and thus, the insurance industry was born.

But I digress, perhaps. What's really at hand here is the auto comparison insurance rate. This nonsensical word salad is in reference to the ability to compare auto insurance rates, and if you want to explore auto insurance options, there are a lot of resources available to you. Your first option is that you could simply trust the company which tells you it will provide you openly and honestly with the rates of other companies and just comparison shop that way. Your next option is to actually believe all the clever, flashy advertisements and just do what they tell you, which might lead you, unfortunately, into buying auto insurance from every company on TV, where despite saving so much money, you would be spending so much money! Fittingly, the third option is to consult a neutral third party insurance broker. These people don't sell insurance themselves, but only the service of seeking out the cheapest available insurance, and so they often have the perfect combination of insider knowledge of the inner workings of the industry and neutrality. Just remember, do your research and be careful who you trust. Ask people you know which company they use and what they pay. You may be able to get a good general idea about the ranges of costs available for auto insurance in different levels of service.
